The Chrono 4 collection of Eberhard watches made history as they were the first watches in which the minute, hour, 24 hours and small second counters were arranged in a horizontal row across the dial.
Eberhard & Co. have now added a new édition spéciale to this iconic collection of watches. In keeping with their daring and innovative spirit the iconic four counters have been vertically re-aligned in the Chrono 4 Temerario.
This incredibly stylish chronograph has an automatic movement with a self winding mechanism. Besides the patent-pending vertical line of counters, the case and the clasp have undergone a new carbonic coating process that renders them resistant to scratches and humidity with a protective covering that is at least three times the strength produced using standard coating procedures.
The case is tonneau shaped, and employs larger dimensions. The case-back is slightly arched, to give it that closer more comfortable fit to the natural shape of the wrist. As a final touch, the left hand side of the case is engraved with the words édition spéciale.
Eberhard’s Chrono 4 Temerario is only available with a black dial and black crocodile leather strap. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, and is water resistant up to three atmospheres.
This truly is an édition spéciale, and a special addition to the Chrono 4 collection of Eberhard watches. Limited to 370 pieces, the Chrono 4 Temerario is available from Jura Watches.
