Unveiled at Baselworld 2017, the Breitling Avenger Hurricane Military Volcano watch stole the show with its unmissable all black design and fierce personality. This exclusive limited edition model has become the latest addition to the Breitling Avenger collection, a range of timepieces renowned for their exceptional functionality, high durability and aviation inspired aesthetic.
The Breitling Avenger Hurricane Military Volcano watch is also crafted from their patented material Breitlight, a unique composition that is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel. Furthermore, the material is considerably harder and more durable than both these materials, making for a truly bold and sustainable timepiece. The case measures to a striking 50mm and as standard comes fastened with a high tech military textile strap and folding buckle, but many other strap options are available.
The stunning timepiece is powered by the chronometer rated B12 self-winding mechanical movement that powers the chronograph function, 30 minute counter, 12 hour counter, running seconds and date display at 4 o clock. Following on from the familiar Avenger aesthetic, the Hurricane Military Volcano watch also boasts a black dial with large aviation styled luminescent numerals and hands for easy legibility. Nevertheless, one of the key differences to the Breitling Avenger Hurricane Military Volcano watch is that the lume on the hands and numerals are no longer the pure white colour that is seen on other Avenger models but is now a military inspired beige.
