The Oris Big Crown Movember 2018 watch comes in the shape of one of the larger Big Crown models measuring to 40mm in diameter and still showcases the signature coined edged bezel. The case is fitted with domed sapphire crystal glass which has been coated in anti-reflective treatment on the inside for effortless legibility of the matte black dial. The 50 metre water resistance case back is kept closed so we aren’t able to see the movement, however they have engraved the back with a special edition decoration of a vintage-looking Oris logo in the centre and an inscription of ‘Oris Movember Edition’ and a matching moustache along the edge.
Hidden within the centre of the Oris Big Crown Movember 2018 watch is the Oris 754 movement, the same calibre used in standard Oris Big Crown watches. This stunning automatic winding movement is a modified automatic Sellita movement and boasts a power reserve of 38 hours, 26 jewels and 28,800 vph. The Oris 754 calibre also equips the striking black dial with gorgeous rose gold hour and minute hands painted in Superluminova coating, a sleek rose gold seconds hand and a handy red-tipped pointer date function. As well as the moustache-embossed vintage brown leather strap, this Oris Movember 2018 watch also comes with an additional fabric strap and a gorgeous leather pouch for storage.
