Bulova honours a 1957 series of prototypes created by the Swiss watch manufacturer for the U.S. Navy based around the MIL-SHIPS-W-2181 mil-spec contract for early military frogmen. Known as the Bulova MIL-SHIPS, the new reissue delivers the familiar 41mm diameter with upgraded sapphire crystal glass, double domed just like the original and a distinctively retro dial.
