oris f1 part 4

2015 will mark the thirteenth year of Oris’ partnership with the Williams Formula 1 team. The affiliation marks their longest standing partnership to date. The competitive environment of Formula 1 continues to be the perfect platform for promoting Oris, reinforcing their continued commitment and support for the brand’s quality and success. Deputy Team Principle and Commercial Director of Williams highlights a set of common values shared between the two forces: “we are both family run, embrace new technologies, and precision timing is the cornerstone of our industries”.

Oris are delighted to announce a new Formula 1 inspired collection as a tribute to the iconic Sir Frank and his team as a celebration of his long-established success through both professional and personal achievements. The collection is to be worn at the 2015 season by Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas who finished fourth in last year’s toris f1 part 2ournament. The new Williams range will comprise of two core models due to be launched in June this year: a 42mm stainless steel Oris Williams F1 Day Date and a 44mm stainless steel Oris Williams F1 Chronograph. The new collection successfully transcends a sense of speed and power infused with a strong aerodynamics theme to create two base models that feature all new case shapes. The designs carry familiar characteristics of integrated mechanical engineering within the Formula 1 industry. The crown replicates the motor-driven gearbox wheel, whilst the chronograph sub-dials reset to the zero mark position at the 8 o’clock location, reminiscent of the fine needles on dashboard intrumentalpanels of historical F1 vehicles. . Both individuals demonstrate independent personalities and a distinct style of their own whilst skillfully welding their most distinguishable layers together to bring a long-standing relationship to life. The anatomy of both the day date and Chronograph have been cleverly built to mimic the bodywork of a Formula 1 racing car whilst at the same time, remaining focused on the overall cosmetic look of a conventional Oris timepiece, that oris f1 part 3loyal enthusiasts are most accustomed to. Both versions are intrinsically linked to the high-tech sports cars of the motor sports industry. The integrated lugs also mirror the nose-cone profile of the famous F1 motors.

Oris’ dynamic innovations incorporate the hallmark of the red rotor on each of their designs.  (the symbol of the brand’s high mechanical watch making philosophy). Both models are available on an articulated stainless steel bracelet or smooth black rubber strap. Additionally the sapphire crystal exhibition glass allows the wearer to appreciate the fine tunings of accurate timekeeping courtesy of Oris’ professional experts in engineering.
