Maurice Lacroix’s Pontos Chronograph Sports Watches

The Pontos Chronographe Collection was launched by Maurice Lacroix in 2004 to offer a watch with a sporty aesthetic and a high-precision mechanism of tried and tested reliability. The watches in this collection combine sportsmanship with high-tech design.

Maurice Lacroix watches have just added two outstanding models to the collection: the Pontos Chronographe Sport Full Black (pictured here) and the Pontos Chronographe Sport titanium.

The Pontos Chronographe Sport Full Black has an automatic movement which is based on the Valjoux 7750 caliber, recognized for its precision and reliability. There are 30-minute and 12-hour counters, a small seconds display, a date display and a tachymeter on the outer ring.

What makes this model so striking is its colour: the timepiece exploits black in all registers and hues from the case to the buckle, blackened by an innovative ceramic coating, from the hands to the dial and strap.

While the Pontos Chronographe Sport titanium has the same design features of the Pontos Chronographe range, it is the brushed titanium case that makes it stand out from all the others. In black and silver the 30-minute and 12-hour counters have orange appliqué numerals that give this watch a distinctive sporty look.

Both of these new editions to the Pontos Chronograph Collection have the functions required of a sportsman’s watch without compromising on style and design.
