With only 44 days to go before the start of the next F1 season at the Bahrain International Circuit the Swiss watch manufacturer Oris have just confirmed that they will continue as an Official Partner of the AT&T Williams team. This makes 2010 the seventh full season for Oris watches with the AT&T Williams team.
Oris’s continued partnership with the AT&T Williams team continues to see the watch brand’s logo in its familiar position on the front wing end plate of the two new FW32s. The Oris logo will also remain on the drivers’ gloves as well as the left sleeve of the team uniform. But 2010 will also see the logo in two new prominent positions. A large Oris logo will be in place on the front of the drivers’ overalls and also on the side of each of the driver’s helmets.
Both the Executive Chairman of Oris, Ulrich W. Herzog, and the AT&T Williams Team Principal, Sir Frank Williams, have obviously spoken very favourably of the continued partnership, and have suggested that the continued partnership between the two will ensure continued success for both parties.
Ulrich W. Herzog said that “Our increased commitment to AT&T Williams, in this tougher economic climate, underlines our firm resolution to further build the image of Oris watches within the competitive and prestigious field of Formula One. ”
Sir Frank Williams added that he was “delighted that Oris has increased its partnership agreement with the team which is now one of the longest standing relationships in our sponsorship portfolio. .”
Oris watches are available from Jura Watches, London.
