Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit Limited Edition Watch Review

In a first time collaboration, luxury watch retailer Jura Watches and British watch manufacturer Graham have combined forces to bring us a new and exclusive limited edition Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit watch. This gorgeous timepiece has been designed to memorialise the occasion of Britain leaving the EU next March with a striking Union Jack dial housed within the famous Chronofighter case.

Graham is just one of a few luxury British watch manufacturers capable of pulling off such a spectacular timepiece. Their rich history dates back to 1695 to the legacy of London based master watchmaker George Graham who designed many valuable instruments including a 28-day duration longcase regulator with a deadbeat escapement in 1745. For the release of the Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit watch, Graham have paired up with the UK’s largest online watch retailer Jura Watches to bring fans both old and new together for an exclusive chance to pre-order one of only 100 pieces.

Designed after Graham’s most popular Chronofighter model, the Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit watch is inspired by the instruments used by air force pilots before and during World War II. The distinctive start and stop lever on the left side of the case is used for controlling the chronograph functions and recalls the stopwatches used by flying officers that were often just strapped over their bomber jackets. The left-hand side lever makes it easy to reach with the right hand allowing for precise timekeeping by starting and stopping the chronograph with little effort.

With such a rich British history, it was only right that Graham honoured the country’s next significant move with a brand new limited edition watch. The Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit timepiece boasts a 44mm stainless steel case equipped with a satin-brushed fixed bezel and the renowned left hand lever. The dial is unmissable with the colourful Union Jack flag printed across its entirety as well as large gold coloured indices, a solo 12 numeral at the top and luminescent hands.

Powered by a Swiss automatic movement, the Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit watch comes equipped with hour and minute hands, a large central chronograph counter, a small seconds sub-dial at 3 o clock, 30 minute counter at 6 o clock and a day and date feature at 9 o clock. The silver 30 minute counter has been neatly decorated with a blue ‘Brexit’ logo as well as the unique limited edition number out of 100 pieces.

The Graham Chronofighter Vintage Brexit watch is being exclusively sold at Jura Watches with a release date of November 2018. This stunning pilots watch comes on two strap options including a brown leather strap and a blue leather strap, both options retailing at £3,840 and available to pre-order today at Jura Watches. The limited edition represents the perfect entry point model for those just becoming familiar to Graham as well as being a great collector’s piece for long-time fans.
