Bremont’s new SOLO watch

Bremont has announced the forthcoming launch of its new SOLO watch.

The pilot’s watch is described by the luxury watch brand as “an obvious choice for those wanting to enter the world of Bremont automatic chronometer”.

The timepiece will come with two different dial options and luxury watch brand Bremont says that much time and thought have gone into the legibility of the watch’s face, with steps taken to ensure it is as clear as possible.

The new watch’s design was inspired by pilots and attempts to capture the way they feel as they take off on their first solo flight. The Bremont SOLO is powered by the modified BE-36AE movement and has a classic 43mm Trip-Tick three-piece case.

As with all Bremont watches, the case is hardened to 2,000 Vicker. This makes it much more resistant to scratching than ordinary steel.

Giles English said:  “Both Nick and I have always loved the classic pilot watches of the 40s and we felt that in our range there was room for a beautifully simple and very traditionally styled pilot’s watch. We have used applied indexes to give more texture to the dial and have two options of black dials with both white and cream numerals.”

The Bremont SOLO watch will be available to buy this summer.
