Bremont 2021 Watch Releases

British watch manufacturer Bremont are one of those brands that always get us excited. This year is no exception with Bremont’s 2021 watch releases remaining just as excellent as ever. Alongside the announcement of their new manufacturing facility The Wing, they have unveiled a fantastic selection of new timepieces including two extensions to their Supermarine collection, a new series of Bremont ladies watches and several remarkable Bremont limited editions. Let’s take a look at the Bremont 2021 watch releases…

Bremont Supermarine Chrono

One of their first releases of the year was the Bremont Supermarine Chrono. The design, made famous for its utilitarian aesthetic inspired by both the diving world and the aviation industry, becomes the first Supermarine model with chronograph complication. Powered by the BE-54AE automatic winding movement, the chronograph delivers central chronograph seconds and three contrasting silver subsidiary dials for small seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hour counters. Alongside this, the movement provides a large central GMT hand to work alongside the 24 hour scale ceramic bezel. The Bremont Supermarine Chrono measures to 43mm in diameter with a stainless steel case, 200 metre water resistant rating, screw in crown, DLC coated middle case barrel and sapphire crystal glass on both the front and back. The Bremont Supermarine Chrono is currently available in four variations, two dressed in blue dials and two in black. Each colourway is then paired with an integrated bracelet or a corresponding coloured rubber strap

Bremont Armed Forces Argonaut Azure

In 2019, the Bremont Armed Forces collection was born from a collaboration with Britain’s Ministry of Defence and designed in honour of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces with the original Arrow, Broadsword and Argonaut taking inspiration from the ‘Dirty Dozen’ watches commissioned for the British Army during World War II. The latter model of this trio receives a makeover this year with the Bremont 2021 release delivering a new bright blue and orange colourway. The Bremont Armed Forces Argonaut Azure watch measures to 43mm in diameter with a satin polished stainless steel case and a pale blue internal rotating bezel operated by a lockable crown at 4 o’clock. Housed within the 300 metre water resistant case is the chronometer certified BE-92AV automatic movement which delivers central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and a date window on an ocean blue dial. Legibility is guaranteed thanks to Superluminova detailing and beautifully contrasting orange elements. To pair, the Bremont Argonaut Azure is fitted with a vivid orange “Temple Island” rubber strap and stainless steel pin buckle.

Bremont RFU 150 Limited Edition

Their first limited edition release for 2021 is the Bremont RFU 150. Designed in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Rugby Football Union and their freshly appointed status as the Official Timing Partner for both England Rugby and Twickenham Stadium, the limited edition of 150 pieces brings to life a spectacular design inspired by the sport and its players. The British watch manufacturer holds on to its popular 43mm case size and tops stainless steel with a blue ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel. The ring is cleverly designed between so keen timekeepers can use the 35 and 40 markings so to monitor the approach of half time and full time in red and any extra-time added on the five white increments that follow. Lovers of the game will also appreciate the screw down case back engraved with the Heritage Rose emblem and the blue dial which takes inspiration from colours of England’s current alternative team kit while the hands, dressed in white with red tips, uncovers the colours of their first team kit back in 1871. The Bremont RFU 150 Limited Edition is powered by the COSC certified BE-93-2AV automatic movement with GMT complication and a 42 hour power reserve and completed by Superluminova accents and a polished stainless steel bracelet.

Bremont Supermarine S302

Another addition to their Supermarine collection, Bremont launched the new Bremont Supermarine S302 watch with vintage inspired aesthetics, a new smaller case size measuring to 40mm and added GMT complication. The design comes in three iterations, the first on a classic stainless steel bracelet, the second on a light brown calfskin leather band and the last with a grey and beige striped NATO strap. All three are presented in stainless steel with a scratch resistant DLC treated case barrel, domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating and a bronzed detailed screw in crown guaranteeing a water resistance of 300 metres. In celebration of the aircraft it takes its name from, the Bremont Supermarine S302 watch also includes a closed case back adorned with an image of the Supermarine Sea plane. Behind the case back runs the BE-93-2AV automatic winding movement which provides a 38 hour power reserve and hours, minutes, seconds, GMT and date function on an ink black dial. The GMT hand is coloured in a burnt orange for contrast while the hour hands and indexes are adorned in vintage-coloured Superluminova.

Bremont E-Type Jaguar 60th Anniversary Limited Edition

Next up in the Bremont 2021 watch releases line up is a new duo of Bremont E-Type Jaguar 60th Anniversary Limited Editions. Delivered alongside an exclusive rally timer manufactured by Bremont and a once in a lifetime E-Type driving experience hosted by Jaguar Classic, the limited editions of 60 pieces celebrate the historic unveiling of the very first Jaguar E-Type sports car back in 1961 dressed in two colours, “Flat Out Grey” and “Drop Everything Green” just like that of the two cars that stole the Geneva Motor Show sixty years ago. Both designs measure to 42mm in diameter and have been engineered using the brand’s famous Trip Tick case construction from polished stainless steel with a scratch resistant DLC treated case barrel and a 200 metre water resistant rating. A bidirectional rotating aluminium bezel is dressed in a choice of green or grey to match the perforated calfskin leather strap while the screw down winding crown is carefully detailed with the pattern of a Dunlop racing tyre. The Bremont E-Type Jaguar 60th Anniversary watches also feature a steering-wheel shaped oscillating rotor which peeks through the exhibition case back as part of the BE-50AE automatic movement which delivers chronograph complication and a date window at 6 o’clock.

Bremont Solo Lady K

The most recent Bremont 2021 watch release is a pair of Bremont Solo Lady K watches for women. Designed as a tribute to co-founders Nick and Giles English’s mother, the diamond and mother of pearl designs are named after the boat that their father lovingly hand-built for her and symbolises her artistic and adventurous spirit, now free to be passed on to women everywhere. As an extension to the brand’s first ever lady’s Solo collection, the Bremont Lady K watches deliver the same robust aesthetics as before but with two new white mother of pearl and black Tahitian mother of pearl dials adorned for the first time in diamonds. In total, the luxury watch brand utilises eight claw-set full-cut 1.3mm VS2 GH diamonds on the dial as hour markers and a further 60 white brilliant cut 1.35mm VVS FG diamonds on the 34mm stainless steel bezel. The ladies’ models are powered by the chronometer certified BE-92AV automatic winding movement with hours, minutes, seconds, date and a power reserve of 42 hours and equipped with an exhibition case back, anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, a two-toned adjustable stainless steel bracelet and a truthfully impressive 500 metre water resistant rating.
