Hands-on with the SevenFriday P3C/10 Beach Club Blue & P3C/12 Beach Club Pink

Readying us for the summer months, SevenFriday launches two bold, bright and beach-ready designs: the SevenFriday P3C/10 Beach Club Blue and P3C/12 Beach Club Pink. The designs are perfectly suited to a brand founded on the notion that we should live every day like it’s a Friday.

This time last year, SevenFriday debuted their first Beach Club watch with the P3C/03. It had a stealthy black PVD coated case and a vivid blue and yellow colour theme and proved incredibly popular with those looking for their latest summertime timepiece. Now we’re welcomed to new duo as part of the Beach Club series, these even more suited to the sand and sea than their predecessor opting for a bright white strap and bold accents of either turquoise blue or lipstick pink.

The cases of the SevenFriday P3C/10 Beach Club Blue and P3C/12 Beach Club Pink watches measure to 47.6mm in diameter opting for the same rounded-square shape of all SevenFriday watches before them. The case is engineered from 316L stainless steel as is much of the bezel, crown, buckle and case back. For the animation ring, which encircles the steel bezel, laminated layers of acetate white provide a crisp contrasting to the polished stainless steel. The bezel is then detailed with a grooved line filled with either turquoise blue or lipstick pink, depending on the model you select for your own wrist. The cases of the new SevenFriday P3C/10 Beach Club Blue and P3C/12 Beach Club Pink watches are also equipped with K1 hardened mineral glass and are 100 metre water resistant, so perfect for a day by the sea.

The signature 4-level dial is also handsomely adorned with the new colour palettes with blue and pink making its way across the outer minutes track, predominantly between the 40 to 60 minute section, on the hour hand, AM/PM disc and the small seconds dial. A final splash of colour is also added to the crown where the 7F logo resides. The rest of the dial is contoured with a thin chrome frame and set on an opaline white diamond-cut rhodium ring. The applied indexes at 12, 4 and 8 hours also feature white lume for readability in low lighting.

Powering the SevenFriday P3C/10 Beach Club Blue and P3C/12 Beach Club Pink watches is the Miyota 82s7 automatic winding calibre, the very same to power the inaugural P3C/03 Beach Club watch from two years ago. Made in Japan, it promises a 40 hour power reserve and is kept hidden behind a closed steel case back. Completing both watches is a genuine calfskin leather strap in white with tone-on-tone stitching and a classic stainless steel pin buckle.

Like all modern-day SevenFriday watches, the new P3C/10 Beach Club Blue and P3C/12 Beach Club Pink come with an NFC chip installed within which can be authenticated using the downloadable SevenFriday smartphone app. You will also get a three-year warranty when registering through the app.
