Every design aspect of the Romain Jerome ARRAW Joker watch is inspired by the criminal mastermind with cues of the flamboyant character appearing on the dial, case and strap. The 45mm satin brushed titanium case and bezel is super lightweight and is laser engraved by a highly detailed Joker motif. Meanwhile on the reverse of the case, you can see another bold portrait of the Joker alongside a statement of “One of 100”.
The dial of the Romain Jerome ARRAW Joker Limited Edition watch is a masterpiece, wholly inspired the Joker’s own face. Housed beneath anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, every single dial of the RJ Joker watch is individually hand-painted meaning no two editions are the same. The dial is designed with a pressed ‘plaster’ finish that has been airbrushed to look like the Joker’s own makeup while the two black chronograph sub dials evoke the criminal’s chilling eyes.
The Joker’s manic personality and obsession with playing card’s is further represented on the dial by unique stylised hands shaped like aces. The same aces are used as dial markers while the chronograph seconds hand is painted in purple to compliment the Joker’s famous jacket and tie. To power the Romain Jerome ARRAW Joker watch, the RJ2042 self-winding mechanical movement is used and equips the limited edition with central hour and minutes, a small seconds dial at 3 o clock, central chronograph seconds, a 30 minutes counter at 9 o clock and a date window at 6 o clock.
Every 100-piece edition of the RJ Arraw Joker watch comes with three interchangeable straps that can be easily swapped by pressing the Batman logo release on the watch’s lugs. With a black rubber strap and two colourful alligator leather straps in bright green and purple, you can create three completely different versions of the watch with each strap matching elements of the Joker’s aesthetic. All three straps are fitted with a matching titanium deployment buckle for ease of use.
