The MA-1 jacket was originally developed during the emergence of the Jet Age for pilots in need of clothing that provided performance, safety, and comfort. With aircrafts reaching higher and therefore much colder altitudes, the jacket was required to keep pilots warm. Hidden within the Bell and Ross MA-1 Limited Edition watch is the BR-CAL.302 automatic mechanical movement based on the Sellita SW300. It equips the timepiece with standard hour, minute and seconds function, a date window at 4 o clock and a power reserve of 48 hours. The limited edition provides a water resistance of 100 metres thanks to the closed case back decorated in the famous Bell and Ross logo and the scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass coated in anti-reflective treatment.
