The Muhle Glashutte Panova Red watch is a real eye-catcher. At the centre, its fine-grained dial makes its “basic” red tone appear brighter or darker depending on the angle of light that catches it. Around the edge, raised hour indices are coated in luminous coating to enable perfect readability during both the day and night. At the centre, the Muhle Glashutte Panova Red delivers two classic hands for hours and minutes also treated in luminous coating and a sleek, black seconds hand.
Powering the simple three-hand display is the proven SW 200-1 automatic winding calibre. The movement has been modified by Muhle Glashutte to include a shock proof woodpecker neck regulation that regulates an accuracy of between 0 to +8 seconds per day. The calibre guarantees a power reserve of 38 hours and is kept hidden behind a screw down case back water resistant to 100 metres. Like the case back, the rest of the case is engineered from stainless steel and sits on the wrist at 40 millimetres in diameter and 10.4 millimetres in height. The Muhle Glashutte Panova Red watch also features a screw in crown and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass treated with a layer of anti-reflective coating.
Like so many of the pieces in the Muhle Glashutte Panova collection, the new red edition is fitted with super-easy interchangeable strap system.
