Louis Moinet 2018 Watch Collection Review

We are incredibly excited to show you the full Louis Moinet 2018 watch collection that was recently unveiled at this years SIHH Genève. We are sure many of you are no strangers to this prestigious watch brand, an independent Swiss manufacturer that was not only behind the very first invention of the chronograph watch in 1816 but has become renowned around the globe for it’s use of exotic materials and innovative technology.

With such a huge and breathtaking collection of Louis Moinet 2018 watches to go through, each with its own set of exclusive sketches and photographs, we better get started…

Louis Moinet Metropolis Magic Green Watch

The striking Metropolis Magic Green watch is an unmissable addition to the Louis Moinet 2018 watch collection and is the only creation by the brand to feature Roman numeral hour markers, a traditional trait that we are sure will be incredibly popular with many watch enthusiasts. However, these are no normal Roman numerals, in fact their design has been taken directly from the Compteur de Tierces, the timepiece certified by Guinness World Records as the first chronograph in history. The mesmerising deep green dial creates a stunning contrast against the diamond cut hour markers and evokes an image of unexplored galaxies, mysteries that Louis Moinet himself explored through his love of astronomy.

This unique piece of rock is named after the place it was found, a desert in the southernmost region of the Sultante of Oman on the border of Yemen.
