The pilot training school has been based in Albacete, Spain since 2009 and is currently composed of military and civilian personnel from ten NATO nations. Characterised by its oversized crowns, instantly legible dials and coin-edged bezels inspired by jet engine turbines, the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot has secured a dependable reputation over the years with reliable and robust designs suited to the world of aviation. The Oris Big Crown ProPilot TLP is no different with a solid 44mm PVD coated stainless steel case water resistant to 100 meters and a screw in security crown designed to be easily manipulated even while wearing thick pilot gloves.
Ensuring its status as a combat-ready tool watch, the case of the Oris TLP is dressed in anti-glare gun metal grey PVD coating and paired with domed sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating on the inside. At the centre, legibility is made a priority with a grainy olive-green dial detailed with large propeller-shaped Superluminova hands for hours and minutes and applied numerals and indexes. The minute track and inscriptions on the dial are dressed in beige, a colour taken from the golden eagle in the TLP logo and a sleek black seconds hand with a contrasting red tip.
To match the green dial inspired by the overalls worn by TLP pilots, the Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot TLP Limited Edition features a strap of the same colour engineered from Ventile textile. This high-perfomance material was conceived during the Second World War for British Royal Air Force pilots and delivers a flexible, comfortable and handsome finish. Each 750-piece limited edition will also be presented in a unique olive and orange travel pouch also constructed from Ventile textile.

On the front end, the Oris 752 calibre provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and a large day and date window at 3 o’clock.
