German watch manufacturer Sinn expand their legendary Frankfurt Financial District series with the release of two sunburst-finished blue dials. The first, Model 6068 B, delivers a two time-zone display while Model 6060 B opts for an innovative world time complication offering up three time zones simultaneously.
The Sinn Frankfurt Financial District watch collection was unveiled in the September of 1999 and marked a landmark decision for the company as they celebrated their hometown of Frankfurt am Main. The capital is internationally renowned as the centre of banking and the stock exchange, as well as being the home of Sinn since 1961. Alongside their pilots, divers and other ‘professional purpose’ watches, Sinn wanted to create a series of timepieces for those working in the financial industry with a focus on robustness, reliability and usability. The appeal of the collection is enhanced once more with the release of two new Sinn Frankfurt Financial District watches, models 6060 B and 6068 B which are exquisitely finished in a sunburst blue dial.
Sinn Frankfurt Financial District World Time, Model 6060 B
Starting with the more complex of the two, the Sinn Frankfurt Financial District World Time 6060 B watch is characterised by the three time zones that can be read simultaneously on the blue electroplated dial. The hours, minutes, seconds, three time zones on a 12 and 24 hour basis and date display are all powered by the SW 330-1 self-winding movement promising 25 bearing jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement and its exquisite decoration can be witnessed through the sapphire crystal case back offering a view of the bull and bear rotor engraving, Geneva stripes and blued screws.
Sapphire crystal glass is also used to protect the sunburst decorated dial applied with white propeller-shaped hands and applied appliques all treated with a layer of luminescent coating. The rest of the 38.5mm Sinn Frankfurt Financial District World Time watch is engineered from polished stainless steel with a screw fastened case back and two solid crowns helping in a water resistant rating of 100 metres. Model 6060 B is also delivered in a fine wooden case with both a solid stainless steel fine-link bracelet and cow-hide strap inside so you can change the finish of your watch on a whim.

The Sinn Frankfurt Financial District 6068 B watch follows in the exact same footsteps of its three time counterpart but instead delivers just two time zones on a 12-hour basis. The hours, minutes, seconds, date and dual-time functions remain powered by the SW 330-1 self-winding movement with a 42 hour power reserve and are displayed elegantly on a blue electroplated dial with sunburst decoration. Sapphire crystal glass protects the movement from both the back and front of the watch equipped to a 38.5mm stainless steel case, slim lugs and a duo 100 metre water resistant crowns. This Sinn Frankfurt Financial District watch like it’s brother above also comes delivered in a wooden case alongside a steel bracelet and leather strap. The box also includes a band replacement tool, spare spring bars, an Eschenbach watchmaker’s loupe, a care cloth and a brochure.
