BALL Roadmaster M Archangel Watches Unveiled

It’s been a while since we discussed any of the new releases from the BALL Watch Company, but their new BALL Roadmaster M Archangel Limited Edition range has got the whole industry talking. Although it’s not expected to be released for another couple of months, we couldn’t wait any longer to talk about this exciting new timepiece. Described as the ‘new guardian of exploration’, the release features a brand new ceramic bezel designed for streamlined toughness and one of their remarkable chronometer certified calibres.

There are eight variations of the BALL Roadmaster M Archangel watch available, four in 30mm and four in 43mm. Each is then available with a different choice of a black or blue dial and a black or blue bezel. The releases are the first from the BALL Roadmaster collection to feature a scratch resistant ceramic bezel designed to stand up against even the toughest of conditions. The ceramic also ensures a long-lasting colour impervious to ultraviolet rays. Decorating the outskirts is a 60 minute scale treated with Superluminova detailing to ensure optimal legibility and use in darkness – whether that be used for tracking oxygen levels during a dive or any other elapsed time.

As expected, the dial of each BALL Roadmaster M Archangel watch is decorated with the brand’s famous micro gas tubes. The tubes are found on the 6, 9 and 12 o clock numerals as well as on all hour indexes and central hands for hour, minutes and seconds. The remarkable micro gas technology patented to the BALL brand has become legendary in the luxury watch industry for its ability to remain self-powered for up to 25 years. The glow also promises to be a hundred times more brilliant than other lume found on watches of the same standard.

Crafted from polished stainless steel, both the 40mm and 43mm stainless steel cases are equipped with another of the brand’s iconic technologies, their patented Amortiser system. The anti-shock technology protects the mechanical movement from any damages caused by external shocks. With most mechanical watches, any substantial shock can create sudden and violent oscillations of the rotor and can seriously hurt the movement but with the BALL Roadmaster M Archangel Limited Edition watches and the Amortiser system, you can feel confident in its ability to endure.

The anti-shock system protects the Caliber 7309-C, the brand’s first in-house movement. The automatic mechanical calibre has been chronometer certified to -4 to +6 seconds per day and impresses with an extraordinary power reserve of up to 80 hours. It owns a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour and is fitted with 25 jewels. You can admire the breathtaking craftsmanship of the Swiss made movement through the sapphire crystal case back alongside an engraving of the model’s unique limited edition number.

The BALL Roadmaster M Archangel Limited Edition watches are available to order now. You can find these watches and many other BALL Watch Company collections of the Jura Watches website available with free delivery and interest free finance options available.
