The Certina DS Podium Lap Timer Limited Edition is delivered in classic 316L stainless steel with the case measuring to 42mm in diameter and 11.73mm in height. To pair, a matching 316L stainless steel fixed bezel delivers a tachymeter scale perfect for measuring the speed of the Yamaha Factory MXGP team as they race around the track. Assisting in its 100 metre water resistant rating, the Certina DS Podium watch also boasts a protected screw down crown and a screw down case back adorned with the emblem “Jeremy Seewer #91” and its limited edition status out of 450 pieces.
Handsomely dressed in blue, the same colours as the racing suits worn by the Yamaha Factory MXGP team, the dial of the Certina DS Podium Lap Timer Limited Edition perfectly emphasises its exclusive nature and sporting DNA. The large central hands for hours and minutes are decorated in Swiss Superluminova for optimal legibility in all lighting while two chronograph sub counters for 60 minutes and tenths-of-a-second, contrast perfectly in black.. A third subsidiary dial for continuous seconds is located at 6 o’clock while a beautifully contrasting bright red chronograph seconds hand sits at the centre.
Powering the Certina DS Podium Lap Timer Limited Edition watch is the G10.212 Swiss made quartz calibre. The high precision PrecidriveTM ETA movement has been chronometer certified and provides a theoretical battery life of 38 months, 3 jewels and a date complication at 3 o’clock. It’s COSC-certified status is proudly displayed on the dial at 6 o’clock, protected by scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment.
The Certina DS Podium Lap Timer Limited Edition is completed by a classic 316L stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle and delivered in a special presentation box that includes the Jeremy Seewter 91 emblem and a Yamaha Factory MXGP team helmet embossed on the interior.
