The historic muslin cloth is layered between the anti reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass-back window and the period decorated rotor to effortlessly encapsulate a rare piece of proud British history. Bremont have worked with watch experts, La Joux-Perret on the movements within some previous watches, so it seems a natural progression to continue their journey towards quintessential watch making with elements of their own in house components, enhanced by the knowledge and experience from the La Chaux-de-Fonds experts. The movement under discussion is the Bremont BWC/01 which is part-produced by Bremont themselves, yet uses the base movement from La-Joux Perret to create a unique addition to Bremont’s infrastructure.
